Le musée Picasso in Antibes

The Picasso Museum is located in the Chateau Grimaldi in the old town of Antibes. Picasso actually used to live in this chateau in 1946, when he used the 2nd floor of the building as his workshop where he created numerous important works. After Picasso decided to come back to Paris, he left many paintings and sketches in the castle's custody.

The museums also displays works of Nicolas de Staël, Miró, Bernard Pagès, Anne and Patrick Poirier.
