Villa Kérylos

Villa Kérylos is one of the most fascinating monuments of the French Riviera. Its location, right on the rocky tip of the Baie des Fourmis in Beaulieu-sur-Mer will certainly take your breath away. But wait untill you come inside and pay tribute to Greek Civilization.

Built in 1908, Villa Kérylos was the realisation of a dream – that of Théodore Reinach, an archaeologist and French statesman, fascinated by Greek civilisation. This used to be a leisure home, with sumptuous decoration: mosaics and frescoes inspired by famous scenes, illustrating the great legends of gods and classic heroes.

The visit to this villa is a must visit for anyone who is interested in architecture, design, and history.
